The following theoretical and practical subjects will be considered at the Conference:

1. Scientific and engineering aspects of designing modern reed switches and products on basis thereof.
2. Micromechanical switching elements operated by external magnetic field (MEMS switches).
3. Physical processes accompanying electric signal switching.
4. Source materials in production of reed contacts and MEMS switches.
5. Contact surface coatings of reed contacts and MEMS switches.
6. Features of manufacturing technology of reed contacts and MEMS switches.
7. Nanotechnology in reed switch production.
8. Reed switch products including permanent magnet products.
9. Diagnostics and quality control in manufacture.
10. Application and operating experience, reliability.
11. Strategic planning and production control.

Papers

The oral presentation of the paper in plenary session should not exceed 20 minutes, questions and answers – 10 minutes.

The Conference official languages are Russian and English.

Abstract Submission

Deadline for receipt of abstracts: August 5, 2011. Please send a copy of the abstract as a *.doc or *.docх file preferably by e-mail to: seminev@rmcip.ru.

For abstract submission per post, please send one hard copy as well as an electronic version thereof (CD-ROM with a *.doc or *.docх file) to:

The abstract length is limited to three pages (size A4, 210x297mm). Set the font to Times New Roman, size 14pt.

All participants will receive the Book of Abstracts before the Conference beginning.

Instructions for Preparation of Papers

Margins of the paper: top: 15mm; bottom: 15mm; left: 25mm; right: 15mm. The title in capital letters (16Tm, bold), centered, should be followed in a blank line (14Tm) by the author(s) initials and surname(s) (14Tm), thereunder the address and organization name (12Tm). The text of the paper (12Tm) is printed in two blank lines (10Tm).

The size of the paper is not limited. The oral presentation of the paper should not exceed 20 minutes.

Paper Submission

The participants should present full manuscripts of papers as a *.doc or *.docх in envelope on which you have written the author's name, paper's title and the number of pages, to the Organizing Committee before September 01, 2011 by e-mail to seminev@rmcip.ru. Please submit one original printout copy (A4 format) and your CD-ROM with a *.doc file to the Organizing Committee on the date of registration.

Conference Schedule

The Conference Schedule will be presented in this web site, in September 2011.

Location and Accommodation

The Conference will be held in a Boarding house “Volna” located in a pine forest, by the side of a lake, 237 km from Moscow and 35 km from Ryazan, in environmentally sound area of the Russian Federation.

The costs for accommodation in the hotel “Volna” are to be paid by the Conference participants on-site.

The one-day accommodation (including meals) costs approximately from 1500 to 2000 rubles.

Accommodation is to be paid in rubles on arrival.

Trip to the Conference Holding Place from Moscow

Registration Fees

The Conference registration fee amounts to €250. The Conference participants shall pay registration fees at the date of registration, in Russian rubles at the exchange rate of Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the bank account of RMCIP JSC.

Registration of Conference Participants

Registration of Conference participants will be held on September 28, 2011 from 8 ⁰⁰ to 9 ³⁰ in central building of the Boarding house “Volna”.
